We try our best to give enough time for each patient whilst trying to minimise waiting times. Each patient requires an individual booked appointment (including if attending with another family member). If you have more than one problem, please ask for a double appointment.
Non-urgent advice: Cancel an Appointment
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.

URGENT MEDICAL ISSUE – A problem that need urgent attention within 24-48 hours.
We now have a new patient triage service online via our home page at the top of the screen, via the NHS APP or via this link https://florey.accurx.com/p/C84037
All patients that require urgent medical care will be asked to fill out an online form between 7am – 10:30am.
If you do not want to wait on the phone to be sent the link to fill out this online form, then please use the link above or via the NHS to submit a form.
If you do not have access to the internet or would struggle to complete a form online, then the receptionist will fill this out on your behalf over the phone.
After 10:30am our online request service for medical problems will close. You will need to stay on the line to speak to a receptionist who will fill out the medical form on your behalf.
Please ensure you have your phone on loud for calls and SMS messages as the GP may send you an appointment time via text that you will need to respond to in order to confirm your attendance.
ROUTINE MEDICAL ISSUE
You can submit a routine medical problem via our online patient triage forms as above between 7am and 10:30am.
You will then be sent a link to book an appropriate appointment or will be asked to book an online appointment when they become available.
ADMIN QURIES – Sicknotes, Prescriptions, Result Chasing etc.
We also have an online admin form for queries and prescriptions. This is open during our opening hours and is for all non-urgent admin issues.
All admin forms will be dealt with 3 working days. Therefore, if it’s something that is urgent, please either submit an online MEDICAL form before 10:30am or call the practice in the usual way.
GP Extended Hours
Did you know you can now book GP Appointments in Mid Nottinghamshire on evenings and weekends?
All GP Surgeries across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood can now offer evening and weekend routine GP appointments. These appointments are available to all residents who are registered with a GP Practice in Mid Nottinghamshire.
The appointment may not take place at your usual GP surgery, but at another nearby. Your GP surgery will be able to provide you with more information about the location at the time of booking an appointment.
Appointments are available up to 8pm on a weekday and some Saturdays.
Please note that these appointments are for non-emergencies and are pre-bookable only.
If you find that you no longer need your appointment please cancel it so that these can be offered to other patients.
