Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update
With effect from 15/6/2020, all patients attending AMG for a face to face appointment MUST arrive wearing a face covering or mask please
Due to national public advice on social isolation we are changing our appointments to minimise risk of contact in the community.
We need to limit the spread of the Corona virus in our community to protect our vulnerable. We have to cancel all booked face to face appointments, effective immediately. We WILL run urgent and necessary appointments only. If you have an appointment you will be contacted by our team. Please do not come to the surgery unless you have been instructed to. We will be running a telephone service but please be patient as we are experiencing very high demand at the moment. Many Thanks.
FLU VACCINES 2020 -21
This year, early demand for flu vaccine has been higher than usual and delivery of our stock has been in batches over a number of weeks, so therefore we only have a limited availabilty at certain times.
The priority this year is to vaccinate those who are most at risk from flu first, including people of all ages who have a health condition that makes them more at risk from flu. People aged 50 to 64 without a health condition that puts them at risk from flu will be offered the vaccine later on and should wait to be invited for vaccination.
Although it is best to have the vaccine before flu starts to circulate, which is usually from December onwards. Even having it later in the season, it is still worth having.
Who can have the flu vaccine?
